This is the OFFICIAL USS STARQUEST website. While we are STAR TREK fans, this is NOT a STAR TREK website. It does possess STAR TREK styles and even information. But there are more than enough websites dedicated to ONLY STAR TREK so we (while an UNOFFICIAL STAR TREK fan club) have decided to focus our web space, time, and efforts into creating a site that does two things:
MAKES FANS IN SOUTHWEST FLORIDA AWARE OF OUR PRESENCE.
TO TELL STORIES ABOUT OUR SHIP AND THE ADVENTURES OF THE USS STARQUEST.
To the left of your computer screen is our site NAVIGATION STATION. From here you can visit anywhere on our site that you would like to. The sections of our website are as follows:
SHIPS LINEAGE: The "Ship's Lineage" section will tell you, crewman or civilian about our ships lineage and the history of the name, StarQuest.
MISSION LOGS: On our ship we all have ranks (unless civilian) and individual personas (see CREW PROFILE) our personas allow us to participate in a private Role-Play Game where one person begins a story and leaves available areas for the Crewmen's responses. The Crewmen respond and the adventures unfold. In this section the results of those games are then converted into a standard pros format. Feel free to read, enjoy, and comment on them.
CREW PROFILES: This section allows the crew, both civilian and officers to introduce ourselves and our Personas to you.
SHIP PROFILE: Our own technical manual of innovations and upgrades. A detailed information database that has been approved by the "Ships" Engineer.
CONVENTIONS: Whenever we go to conventions this is the section where we will post pictures and individual crew comments about the cons.
DOWNLOADS: To emphasis the fact that this isn't a standard STAR TREK website, we have and will be posting ONLY those downloads that feature us. Desktop Themes, Wavs, and pics of us on our ship, in various capacities. Of course we also have fun quirky downloads too (i.e., warp calculator, stardate calculator, etc...etc...)
HISTORICAL DATA: Because of the unusual nature of our fandom and desire to tell our stories we have written a thorough history of events...the way they happened in this possible universe.
COMMUNICATIONS: If you like what you see, tell us...if you're in Southwest Florida and would love to join us, this section gives you all of the information that you might want. ALSO sign our logbook "guest book" and leave a log of your own telling us about yourself, or read the logs of others.
